With only a year to go until the next Olympics, both Becky and Ellie are now working hard on their routines as they have started their road to Rio .
However their next ambition is to be selected for The World Championship Team .
Trials are currently been held and the team will be announced in early October .
They would both love to make the team and compete together for GB in Glasgows Hydro Arena where the commonwealth gymnastic events were held last summer .
The Championships are very important this year as they are an Olympic qualifier and only the top 8 teams are guaranteed an Olympic place , however if they do not make the top eight there is another Test event at a later date in Rio !!
The Doubledownies have recently visited Glasgow to help promote the championships and are excited for the coming months.
If they are lucky enough to both be selected for the team it will be Ellie's first world championships and Beckys seventh , fingers crossed GBGBGB
